This Subscription & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the subscription, payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms applicable to the EduWindow platform and related services (“Services”) provided by EduWindow Private Limited (“EduWindow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
This Policy forms part of the EduWindow Terms of Service.
EduWindow provides its Services primarily on a subscription basis to institutions.
Eligible institutions may include:
The institution subscribing to EduWindow is the customer. Individual students, parents, teachers, staff, and other users generally access the Services through accounts created or managed by the subscribing institution.

The features, user limits, storage, services, pricing, and other conditions may vary between plans.
The applicable commercial terms presented to or agreed with the institution will govern its subscription.
Subscription prices are communicated through the EduWindow website, quotation, order form, invoice, commercial proposal, or separate institutional agreement, as applicable.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, applicable taxes and government charges are additional to the listed subscription price.
Applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), may be charged separately as required by applicable law.
The applicable tax treatment may depend on the institution's location, registration status, transaction structure, and applicable law.
Institutions are responsible for providing accurate billing and tax information where required.
Institutions must pay subscription fees according to the payment terms specified in the applicable invoice, order form, quotation, subscription plan, or institutional agreement.
Payment may be made using payment methods made available or approved by EduWindow.
EduWindow subscriptions do not automatically renew unless expressly agreed otherwise in a separate written agreement.
Institutions wishing to continue the Services after the current subscription term must complete the applicable renewal process and payment.
The subscription period begins on the date specified in the applicable subscription confirmation, invoice, order form, or agreement.
The subscription remains active for the purchased period unless suspended or terminated earlier in accordance with the applicable terms.
Before the end of an active subscription period, EduWindow may provide renewal information or pricing to the institution.
Renewal is completed when the institution accepts the applicable renewal terms and makes the required payment.
EduWindow may change its subscription prices from time to time.
A price change generally does not alter the price already paid for the current subscription term.
Updated pricing may apply to a subsequent renewal term.
Where applicable, EduWindow will communicate significant pricing changes before the relevant renewal.
The institution may choose whether to renew at the updated price.
Custom or enterprise subscriptions may be governed by separate commercial terms, proposals, order forms, or institutional agreements.
Where a separately executed agreement contains subscription or refund terms that conflict with this Policy, the applicable agreement will govern to the extent of the conflict.
EduWindow may offer free trials or limited evaluation periods at its discretion.
Where offered, the duration, features, user limits, restrictions, and eligibility requirements may vary.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a free trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
EduWindow may discontinue or modify a free trial at any time, subject to applicable contractual or legal requirements.
An institution may request a refund within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of the initial subscription payment.
Refund requests are subject to verification and the applicable subscription terms.
A refund may be considered where:
After fifteen (15) calendar days from the initial subscription payment, subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless:
Refund requests should be submitted through EduWindow's designated support or billing channel.

EduWindow may verify the request before approving or declining a refund.
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear may depend on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.
EduWindow is not responsible for delays caused solely by external payment providers or financial institutions.
An institution may request cancellation of its subscription at any time.
Unless otherwise agreed, cancellation does not automatically create a right to a refund for unused time remaining in the current subscription period.
The subscription may remain active until the end of the paid period unless otherwise agreed or terminated under the applicable Terms.
When a subscription expires without renewal, EduWindow may restrict or suspend normal access to the Services.
Institutional data will not be automatically deleted solely because the subscription has expired.
Data retention and deletion will be handled in accordance with the EduWindow Data Retention & Deletion Policy and applicable agreements.
Following subscription expiry, normal access to the platform may be restricted.
EduWindow may retain institutional data for applicable retention, security, legal, operational, backup, dispute-resolution, or contractual purposes.
An institution may request an appropriate data export subject to verification, technical feasibility, applicable terms, and any applicable charges.
If a payment is not received by the applicable due date, EduWindow may:
EduWindow will make reasonable efforts to protect retained institutional data during such restriction or suspension.
The institution remains responsible for valid unpaid subscription fees, invoices, taxes, or other amounts properly due under the applicable agreement.
Late fees, interest, or recovery charges may apply only where specified in the applicable commercial agreement or invoice and permitted by applicable law.
EduWindow may suspend or restrict Services where subscription fees remain unpaid after the applicable due date and any applicable grace period.
Suspension for non-payment does not automatically constitute deletion of institutional data.
Institutions should contact EduWindow promptly if they believe a payment, invoice, tax amount, or subscription charge is incorrect.
EduWindow may review relevant billing and transaction information to investigate the dispute.
Institutions should provide sufficient information to allow the matter to be reviewed.
Where an institution makes a duplicate payment or an amount is demonstrably paid in error, EduWindow may review the transaction and, where appropriate, refund or adjust the verified excess amount.
Any refund remains subject to payment-provider processing requirements and applicable law.
EduWindow may use third-party payment processors or financial service providers to process subscription payments.
Payment transactions may be subject to the applicable provider's terms, privacy practices, security controls, and processing timelines.
EduWindow does not control independently operated payment systems.
EduWindow takes reasonable measures to protect payment-related information handled through its Services.
Where third-party payment processors are used, payment information may be processed directly by those providers in accordance with their applicable security and privacy practices.
EduWindow does not intentionally store complete payment card information unless specifically required and lawfully supported by its payment architecture.
EduWindow may offer promotional pricing, discounts, credits, or special subscription arrangements.
Promotional terms may include specific eligibility requirements, validity periods, usage limitations, or other conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional benefits do not automatically continue after the promotional period.
Any service credit, account credit, discount, or promotional credit issued by EduWindow may be subject to specific terms.
Credits generally cannot be converted into cash unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed otherwise.
Temporary service interruptions caused by maintenance, infrastructure issues, cloud provider failures, internet connectivity, security incidents, force majeure, or other circumstances may occur.
EduWindow does not provide automatic refunds or compensation for every temporary or isolated interruption.
Any applicable service credit or other remedy will be governed by the Terms of Service or applicable institutional agreement.
EduWindow may suspend or terminate a subscription in accordance with the Terms of Service, including where there is:
The treatment of prepaid amounts following termination will depend on the reason for termination, applicable agreement, and applicable law.
An institution may terminate its relationship with EduWindow in accordance with the applicable subscription or institutional agreement.
Any prepaid fees will be handled according to this Policy, the applicable commercial terms, and applicable law.
Unless expressly offered by EduWindow in writing, access to the Services is provided through subscription-based arrangements and does not constitute a permanent one-time purchase of the software.
Subscription payment provides a right to use the applicable Services during the relevant subscription period.
Payment of a subscription does not transfer ownership of EduWindow's software, source code, platform technology, intellectual property, branding, or infrastructure.
The institution receives a limited right to use the Services during the applicable subscription period, subject to the Terms of Service and applicable policies.
Nothing in this Policy limits any refund, cancellation, or consumer protection right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
Where applicable law provides a mandatory refund or cancellation right, that legal requirement will apply.
EduWindow may update this Subscription & Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in pricing practices, payment systems, Services, legal requirements, or business operations.
Material changes may be communicated through the EduWindow platform, registered institution email, website, or other appropriate channels.
