AI Terms

These AI Terms (“AI Terms”) govern the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, recommendation, analytics, and related intelligent features provided through the EduWindow platform (“AI Features”).
The AI Features may include ADWO (Adaptive Digital Work Operator), AI assistants, AI-generated responses, recommendations, summaries, insights, classifications, predictions, automations, and other intelligent functionality made available by EduWindow Private Limited (“EduWindow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These AI Terms form part of the EduWindow Terms of Service.
EduWindow provides AI Features to assist institutions and authorized users with educational, administrative, analytical, communication, and operational activities.
AI Features are designed to support users and institutions and are not intended to replace appropriate human judgment, institutional authority, or professional advice.
ADWO stands for "Adaptive Digital Work Operator" and represents EduWindow's AI-powered intelligence layer.
Depending on the features enabled by an institution, ADWO may assist with:
The capabilities of ADWO may vary depending on the subscription, configuration, available data, integrations, and features enabled by the institution.
AI Features are intended to assist users rather than independently replace authorized institutional decision-makers.
Institutions and authorized personnel remain responsible for reviewing and making decisions based on AI-generated information where appropriate.
AI output should not be treated as automatically authoritative, complete, or correct.
AI Features may generate information, recommendations, summaries, classifications, or other outputs based on available data and user inputs.
AI-generated information may contain:
Users should independently review important AI-generated information before relying on it.

EduWindow does not require institutions to accept or implement AI-generated recommendations.
AI Features are not intended to provide guaranteed:
Where a matter requires professional judgment, users should consult an appropriately qualified professional or authorized institutional representative.
EduWindow does not guarantee that AI-generated outputs will always be accurate, complete, reliable, unbiased, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.
AI output should be treated as assistance rather than a guaranteed factual determination.
Depending on the AI Feature used, institutional data may be processed to generate responses, insights, summaries, recommendations, classifications, or automated actions.
EduWindow processes institutional data in accordance with the applicable Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement, and other applicable policies.
Only data reasonably necessary for the relevant AI Feature should be processed for that feature.
Users are responsible for ensuring that information they intentionally provide to AI Features is appropriate for the intended institutional purpose and does not unlawfully disclose confidential or third-party information.
Users should avoid entering sensitive information into AI Features unless the relevant feature is specifically designed and authorized to process such information.
AI Features may process personal information where necessary to provide an enabled feature.
Institutions are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authority, permissions, notices, consents, and legal basis required for processing personal information through AI Features.
EduWindow will process such information in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and contractual obligations.
Where AI Features process information relating to students or minors, institutions remain responsible for ensuring that applicable legal requirements relating to children and minors are satisfied.
EduWindow may apply additional technical or operational safeguards where appropriate.
AI Features should not be used to make significant decisions concerning minors without appropriate human review and institutional authorization.
Certain AI Features may be capable of initiating or supporting automated actions where enabled by an institution.
Examples may include:
Institutions remain responsible for configuring, reviewing, and approving automated workflows.
AI-generated recommendations are suggestions based on available information and configured systems.
Recommendations do not automatically constitute institutional policy, academic judgment, professional advice, or binding decisions.
Institutions and authorized personnel remain responsible for determining whether and how a recommendation should be used.
Where AI or automated systems are used in connection with attendance, location, timestamps, geofencing, or related information, results may be affected by:

AI-generated student, teacher, class, subject, attendance, homework, test, or institutional insights are intended to support analysis and decision-making.

AI systems may produce outputs that are incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or affected by limitations in the underlying models or data.
EduWindow seeks to improve the reliability and usefulness of AI Features but cannot guarantee that every output will be free from bias, error, or unexpected results.
Users should report materially incorrect or inappropriate outputs through appropriate EduWindow support channels.

Users must not intentionally submit confidential information belonging to another person or organization to an AI Feature unless they are authorized to do so and the relevant feature is intended to process such information.
Institutions remain responsible for determining what information may appropriately be provided to AI Features.
Certain AI Features may rely on third-party artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud, infrastructure, or other technology providers.
Where applicable, information may be processed by such providers in accordance with the relevant contractual, privacy, security, and technical arrangements.
EduWindow may change AI providers or underlying technologies as the Services evolve.
AI Features may change over time due to:
As a result, AI-generated outputs may vary between versions, requests, or periods of use.
EduWindow does not guarantee that any particular AI Feature, model, capability, language, integration, or functionality will remain available permanently.
EduWindow may modify, restrict, suspend, replace, or discontinue AI Features where reasonably necessary.

Institutional data remains subject to the ownership provisions of the Terms of Service.

Where information is used for service improvement, analytics, security, or similar purposes, such processing will be subject to applicable contractual and privacy requirements.
Where third-party AI providers are used, applicable provider arrangements and contractual safeguards will govern their permitted processing.

AI Features are not guaranteed to achieve a particular academic, administrative, financial, operational, or business outcome.

EduWindow may temporarily or permanently restrict AI Features where necessary because of:
The processing of personal information through AI Features is subject to the EduWindow Privacy Policy and applicable Data Processing Agreement.

Use of AI Features must comply with the EduWindow Acceptable Use Policy.
Any prohibited activity under the Acceptable Use Policy remains prohibited when performed through an AI Feature.
EduWindow may update these AI Terms from time to time to reflect changes in AI technology, Services, legal requirements, security practices, or operational practices.
Material changes may be communicated through the EduWindow platform, registered institution email, website, or other appropriate channels.
