EduWindow Private Limited (“EduWindow”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses selected third-party service providers to help operate, secure, maintain, and deliver the EduWindow platform and related services.
These third-party providers may process limited information on EduWindow’s behalf where necessary to provide their respective services.
This Subprocessors Policy explains the categories of third-party service providers that may process information in connection with EduWindow.
A Subprocessor is a third-party service provider engaged by EduWindow that may process data on behalf of EduWindow or an institution using EduWindow.

Subprocessors are used only where reasonably necessary for providing, securing, maintaining, or improving the Services.
The following categories of third-party providers may be used by EduWindow:
Purpose: Hosting, storage, computing, backups, and platform infrastructure.
Purpose: Transactional emails, account-related communications, notifications, and service communications.
Purpose: Processing subscription payments and related payment transactions.
Purpose: WhatsApp, SMS, or similar institutional communications.
Purpose: Providing AI-powered features and functionality where applicable.
Purpose: Service performance, reliability, security, diagnostics, and usage analysis.
Purpose: Location-related functionality where enabled by the institution.
Purpose: Security, fraud prevention, infrastructure protection, and technical operations.
EduWindow currently uses or may use the following providers for specific services:
Purpose: Transactional and service-related email delivery.
Resend may process information necessary to deliver emails, such as email addresses, message metadata, and the contents of emails sent through its service.
Purpose: Payment processing.
Razorpay may process payment-related information necessary to complete subscription payments and related transactions.
EduWindow does not require or intend to store users' complete payment card credentials through its own application infrastructure where such information is handled directly by the payment provider.
EduWindow uses cloud infrastructure and related services for hosting, storage, computing, authentication, backups, and other technical operations.
The specific infrastructure provider, service, region, or technical configuration may change as EduWindow evolves its infrastructure.
EduWindow may use third-party AI service providers to support AI-powered functionality, including features associated with ADWO and other intelligent platform capabilities.
The specific AI provider may vary depending on the feature, technical requirements, security considerations, availability, and product architecture.
EduWindow will take reasonable steps to ensure that applicable contractual, privacy, and security requirements are considered when selecting AI service providers.
A subprocessor may only receive or process information that is reasonably necessary for the service it provides.

Not every subprocessor receives all categories of information.
EduWindow seeks to apply appropriate controls to limit third-party access to information based on operational necessity.
Institutional data remains subject to the data ownership and processing terms described in the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and, where applicable, the Data Processing Agreement.
Where EduWindow processes institutional data on behalf of an institution, subprocessors may process such data only as necessary to provide the applicable services.
EduWindow expects relevant service providers to maintain reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the services and information being processed.

Security requirements may vary depending on the type and sensitivity of information involved.
Subprocessors operate their own infrastructure and services and may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and service limitations.
EduWindow does not control the independent operation of third-party services.
However, EduWindow will take reasonable steps to select and manage service providers appropriate to the Services and applicable requirements.
EduWindow may add, replace, or remove subprocessors when reasonably necessary to:

Where required by applicable law, contractual obligations, or an applicable Data Processing Agreement, EduWindow may provide reasonable notice of material changes to subprocessors.

Accordingly, information processed through third-party services may be transferred to or processed in jurisdictions outside India where permitted by applicable law and subject to appropriate contractual, technical, or organizational safeguards where required.
EduWindow does not represent that every subprocessor or service operates exclusively from India.
EduWindow does not sell personal data of students, parents, teachers, staff, administrators, or other users to subprocessors or other third parties for unrelated commercial purposes.
Third-party providers are engaged primarily to support the delivery, security, operation, and functionality of the Services.
Where AI-powered functionality uses a third-party AI service provider, relevant information may be processed by that provider as necessary to provide the requested functionality.
EduWindow will seek to apply appropriate contractual and technical controls to such processing.
AI-generated outputs may be generated using third-party infrastructure and should be treated in accordance with the limitations described in the AI Terms.
Payment transactions may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Razorpay.
Payment providers may independently process payment information in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies, security requirements, and applicable laws.
EduWindow does not control the internal processing practices of independent payment providers.
Where an institution enables communication functionality, EduWindow may use third-party providers for:
The delivery, availability, timing, and processing of communications may also be subject to the policies and technical limitations of the relevant communication provider.
Institutions using EduWindow remain responsible for:
EduWindow provides the technical platform and supporting services but does not determine the institution's independent legal, academic, administrative, or regulatory obligations.
EduWindow expects subprocessors with access to confidential or protected information to be subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations or equivalent contractual protections.
Access to information should be limited to personnel and systems that require such access for legitimate operational purposes.
Subprocessors may retain information for periods necessary to provide their services, comply with applicable legal requirements, maintain security, resolve disputes, or perform legitimate operational functions.
Retention periods may differ between providers and services.
EduWindow's own retention and deletion practices are described in the Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
The availability of a particular subprocessor or third-party service is not guaranteed.
EduWindow may modify, replace, suspend, or discontinue a third-party service where reasonably necessary due to:

Where EduWindow becomes aware of a confirmed security incident involving a relevant subprocessor that materially affects institutional data, EduWindow will take reasonable steps to assess the incident and provide notifications where required by applicable law or contractual obligations.

Where an institution and EduWindow have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), the DPA may contain additional requirements regarding subprocessors, including:

The existence of a subprocessor relationship does not provide institutions or third parties with access to EduWindow's internal infrastructure, source code, databases, system architecture, credentials, APIs, security configurations, or other confidential technical information.
Such information remains protected as confidential and proprietary information of EduWindow, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.
EduWindow may intentionally limit publicly disclosed information regarding its internal technical architecture, infrastructure configuration, security controls, system relationships, and operational implementation.
This is intended to maintain appropriate security while still providing reasonable transparency regarding third-party processing.
